Recommendation to Parents

The school greatly requires day-to-day cooperation from the parents

  • The school greatly requires day-to-day cooperation from the parents. We earnestly recommend that parents or guardians look into their children’s school diary every day, and see to it that the lessons and homework assigned for the next day are done. Parents are requested to see that their children are neat, clean and tidy. Shirts without buttons, leaky fountain pens, unpolished shoes, etc. lead a student to adopt sloppy habits in studies.
  • “Private tuitions” (on a fee-payment basis) are not permitted from one who is teaching them in class. If there be a real need for help, arrange for remedial classes through the Principal.
  • Criticism of a child’s teacher and of the school by parents in presence of a student should be strictly avoided because it causes the child to lose his/her respect for the teacher. Also the child fails to learn from the teacher. Should you have a legitimate complaint, see the principal, without fear of reprisal.
  • As your child grows in age, guide him/her to become a resourceful member of home and country. Encourage self-help for work and study.
  • Children should be taught to keep their room tidy, make their own bed, wash their own clothes polish their shoes, carry their own bags, etc. The formation of such habits early in life inculcates in them the idea of the dignity of work and a fundamental personal value necessary for a successful career in life.
  • When communicating with the school authorities in writing, the parents are requested to mention the name, the class and the section of their children.
  • Parents, guardians and other persons should not visit the classroom or interview the teachers except after obtaining approval of the principal/vice principal.
  • As directed by the Police Department, parents/guardians should ensure the safety and security of the students/wards to and from the school.
  • The school highly recommends you to report any grievance related to your ward's educational experience at the school to the principal/vice principal.
  • Security of our students is our prime concern. In order to do so, we need to restrict unidentified people in our campus. So, the parents are requested to carry the I. Card issued by the school authorities when they make a visit to our school. Failing to produce the I. Card will prohibit the entry to the campus.
