Rules of Diary

The student needs to bring the diary everyday without fail

  • Each student is given a diary in the beginning of the academic year.
  • The student must keep that diary till the end of the academic year.
  • The student needs to bring the diary everyday without fail.
  • 25 marks are assigned to the dairy, 5 marks from each major subject. This mark will be assigned by the class teacher.
  • 15 marks are assigned for internal assessment of each subject.
  • Class teachers/subject teachers need to give projects, assignments, home works, note book completions etc. and assign marks. Before every result day (PTM), the class teachers will collect the diary and show to the parents the remarks and observations written by the teachers.
  • There are columns in the diary for late coming, absent, leave, special leave or sick leave. Class teachers need to mark that column every day, whether the child comes late, is absent, is on leave or special leave, sick leave, etc.
  • On the last day of the month, the class teacher will collect the diary of every student and update it with proper data.
  • The class teacher will gather all the diary remarks at the end of the academic year along with the diary.
  • If a child looses his/her diary. A new diary must be purchased from the Vice-Principal immediately, and the class teacher must maintain a record that it is a second diary.
  • If a child is absent for a day, the class teacher will sign in the diary. For two to three days, the Vice Principal will sign in the diary. For more than 3 days Fr. Principal will sign the diary.
  • If the child is absent for more than 5 days in a month, the class teacher will inform the Principal in writing on the 5th day itself.
